Firstly, the textbook would need to have been bought from University funds and not be your own private copy. Material should be submitted to the Library for scanning under the University’s CLA Licence and the details recorded. It will then be placed on a library server with a link to the appropriate reading list which is accessible from a Blackboard platform where it may be accessed only by those students pursuing that particular course of study. There are strict limits to what may be scanned including the proportion of the book which may be scanned (one chapter or no more than 10% of the book).
