Journals are publications that are published on a regular, ongoing basis. They are sometimes known as periodicals, magazines or serials. They may be published daily, usually newspapers ,weekly, monthly, quarterly or even biannually.

Some journals are "peer reviewed", which means that when articles are submitted for publication, groups of academics in the field will assess the quality of the article for publication.

The Library subscribes to both print and electronic journals, and titles and years held are available on the A-Z listing for eJournals, and our Catalogue for eJournal and print holdings.
