The Library subscribes to hundreds of different databases across all subject areas taught by the University. To find out which databases are the best to use for your research topic, consult the subject pages produced by the faculty librarians. These pages include links to the databases for a given subject area as well as links to other useful information sources, online training and referencing.

Our A-Z list of databases also provides links to library user guides which may be useful when starting to use a database for the first time. The subject librarians organise training sessions on how to develop search strategies and make the most effective use of the databases. These classes are arranged through your lecturer but the subject librarians are also available to provide training on an individual basis by appointment. The contact details for the subject librarians are available from the Library’s Contact Us page.
